Federal Firearms License - How to Get FFL License Quickly and Easily!
What is the FFL License?
The FFL is the license issues by the Federal Government that allows an individual or business to sell firearms. The individual with a FFL may provide the service of transferring firearms between different states. If you have bought a gun through mail order or online, chances are you will need to find someone with a FFL to allow the transfer of the firearm.
Can you legally buy firearms throught the internet or mail order?
Yes, you can purchase a firearm, whether it is a handgun or long gun, through the internet, including mail order. This is where you must have an individual or business owner that has a FFL accept the weapon. Sellers of firearms must ship to a FFL in order to allow transfer of the weapon.
Where can I find someone with a FFL?
If a business is selling firearms, or firearm supplies, chances are they have a FFL. Be aware that people with a FFL will sometimes charge a fee for the transaction, and those fees aren't regulated.
I tried to buy a firearm, but they won't send it. Why?
If you have purchased a firearm online or through mail order, the seller must have a copy of the FFL in possession to verify that they are shipping the firearm to the same address as the FFL that is being used. This is for record keeping purposes to ensure that the firearm is going to the FFL holder. This also validates the FFL database check to ensure that the FFL is current and not revoked.
Do you need a FFL for supplies and accessories?
No. Only firearms themselves are required to have a Federal Firearms License involved. Any supplies or accessories do not require a FFL.
Can my background check be done on the phone?
No. Due to Federal law, the ATF Yellow Sheet must be filled out in the presence of the FFL holder. This allows the FBI to begin an instant background check on you in order to approve the sale of the firearm.
I got a NICS delay. Now what?
If you recieved a NICS delay response during your background check, don't worry. This can sometimes happen and is not the fault of the FFL holder. Usually the background check will clear within 24 hours.
What does a denied response mean?
There is no reason given for the denied response. This is due to FBI and ATF regulations and the Federal Firearms License holder cannot give you any reason either, as they don't know. You can request a written response for the reason of the denial. The FFL holder should have access to the Denial Request Form to provide to you.
How old do I have to be to buy a gun?
Good Question! Most states require that you are at least 18 years old for rifle and shotgun purchases. You generally have to be 21 for handgun purchases.

Federal Firearms License - How Can You Get Your FFL?
"Give Me 3 Minutes And 22 Seconds And I'll Show You The Exact Steps For Getting Your Federal Firearms License Without Losing Your Money Or Time
Guaranteed..."
Dear Fellow Gun Owner,
If you're thinking about getting your FFL, now has never been a better time to get one. Please let me explain.
With the new Presidential Administration settling into office, there is a real possibility our freedoms and rights will be affected.
There is more risk than ever that gun laws will change.
Some think there could be a ban on FFL's. If so, you lose your chance to get a Federal Firearms License. Can this really happen?
...No one knows for sure but why risk it?
The benefits of having an FFL are big. They include the following:
- Buy guns wholesale, a few purchases a year and you have easily paid for your license.
- Speed up the process when buying guns and eliminate the middle-man
- Have the freedom to buy and sell guns
How Can You Get An FFL?
One option is to research and spend a lot of time trying to figure out the process. This is possible but time consuming.
And if you make one mistake on your FFL Application, you're likely to get rejected or possibly declined. You end up losing money and time. Now that stinks!
Another option is to buy a "FFL Kit". You have to be careful with this option as there are several Kits on the internet that just aren't worth the paper they are printed on.
I ran across one Kit that I highly recommend. It's written and created by someone that actually has a FFL. So he know's what he's talking about.
What Does Ben Franklin Have To Say?

Federal Firearms License - Federal Firearms License
The Federal Firearms License is a special license that allows a person or company to own a business in which they either sale or manufacture guns and ammunition. If you are serious about getting your federal firearms license Guns Lot recommends you visit FFL KIT TO GET STARTED.
It has been mandatory for gun sellers and manufacturers to have an FFL since the introduction of the Gun Control Act during the 1960s. The Federal agency which is responsible for granting this license is the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. As of 2007, there are eleven different licenses which are offered under the FFL. Each license is only good for three years, after which it must be renewed.
If a business owner wants to run multiple types of gun companies, they may be required to have more than once license. To be recognized as a firearm by the ATF, there are a number of characteristics it must have. First, the firearm must have been produced within 50 years before the current date. The firearm must be certified by the government. This also includes any firearms which have a high value due to their being rare. To get the FFL, an applicant must meet a number of different requirements. The applicant must be at least 21 years of age. They must not be prohibited from handling or carrying firearms. Examples of people who would be prohibited include felons or those who have mental disorders.
Guns Lot makes it easy to obtain your Federal Firearm License Here.
The applicant will also not be approved if they've failed to follow the Gun Control Act. All information on the application must be accurate, and the applicant must have a location where they can conduct the business. The applicant will also be expected to pay an application fee, which currently is $200 for pawnbrokers and $200 for a manufacturer. Prices are a bit lower for when the manufacturer or seller wants to renew. It should also be noted that contoversy surrounds the license, and much of this controversy comes from the Gun Control Act itself.
Many critics point out that the Gun Control Act and FFL gives the government more control over the manufacture and distribution of firearms, and in a sense, they are meddling in a free market. In addition to this, others argue that the Gun Control Act is the first step in what may eventually become gun confiscation. Many gun organizations such as the NRA have outright rejected many of the provisions the Gun Control Act has, while supporting others, such as not allowing felons or those who are mentally ill to operate firearms.
Perhaps one of the strongest criticisms made at the FFL and the Gun Control Act is the fact that it actually encourages a black market arms industry, and it also makes citizens less safe. Since criminals don't follow gun laws, critics argue that the Gun Control Act makes it harder for law abiding citizens to access guns, and makes it easier for them to fall victim to criminals. It should also be noted that the Gun Control act blocked foreign made guns which were mostly automatics from being imported to the U.S. Critics state that this is an incremental undermining of the Second Amendment, since the founding fathers never placed restrictions on what type of weapons could be owned. Again, criminals would not follow such laws, and still purchase automatic weapons off the black market.

Federal Firearms License - Powerful Stun Gun
Stun guns are one of the choices of self defense products on the market today. They are becoming increasing popular because crime seems to be ever-present and the tremendous history success with military and law enforcement.
When we talk about stun guns, power is a big topic. There are literally hundreds of choices in stun guns from as many as 9-10 different manufacturers each with its' own complete product line.
Those stun guns, in general, range from 80,000 volts to 1.2 million volts. Most are in the 500,000 volt to 900,000 volt range. So the big question is why is power important?
Once you know how they work you'll understand that the more power you have in your stun gun the less time it takes to be effective. To be effective a stun gun must be applied to the assailant's body from 2-5 seconds to bring him down.
The most powerful stun guns are more expensive to be sure. But look we are talking about your self defense here and possibly that of your family-your lives may be at risk!
I know of no stun gun that sells for more than $100.00 anyhow. Discounts are almost always available.
The Double Trouble Stun Gun is 1.2 million volts-the most powerful I know of. Streetwise has three at one million volts. One is a rechargeable stun baton, one is a rechargeable Silver Bullet Small Fry and the other is a model that has an alarm and disable pin. That's total of four over 1 million volts.
When it comes to your safety and security consider getting the most powerful stun gun you can afford to defend your self. You may only need to use it once. I hope you never have to use it at all. Just knowing you have it handy gives you the self confidence you need to walk tall.
If you feel threatened by an assailant charge the stun gun and hold it up for the bad guys to see the flying current and hear the sounds. Sometimes with a "back off" warning, the sight and sound of a charging stun gun is enough for the perp to leave you alone.
If you are looking for a non lethal self defense product a stun gun can be one of your best choices available. They are effective, affordable, easy to carry and use. When are you getting one?
If you are in the market for a self defense product look for quality, effectiveness, and a biggie-LEGALITY. Stun guns are not legal in some states. Check with your local police department too.

Federal Firearms License - How To Become A Licensed Firearms Dealer - Acquiring A Federal Firearms License
A lot of people are curious about the firearms industry and want to get involved. Why? But, because it is a very profitable business. Can an individual or a company be directly involved in this business of trading/manufacturing guns and ammunition? The answer is yes but you need to acquire a license (Federal Firearms License). Here's how to get started as a licensed/legal firearms wholesaler.
In most countries, someone who wants to legally sell guns, needs to hold a license that will allow him/her to engage in certain activities (buying guns as a dealer and sell them to potential customers).
First you need to fill a Federal Firearms License application. Find the department or administration that is responsible for the firearms licensing system. In the USA the authority is called Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. They will provide you with an application form to fill. After filling the form you must choose the type of license you want to acquire (there are more than one license types). If your application is approved your Federal Firearms License will be valid for a limited period of time (e.g. 3 years). After that, you need to renew it.
What are the requirements for obtaining a federal firearms license?
In most cases you need to follow strict rules and fulfill requirements in order to acquire your Federal Firearms License. And here are some of them:
* You need to be at least 23 years old or older (depends on the country/state)
* You must not be prohibited from holding/trading guns or ammunition for any reason
* Your federal records must be clean
* You are bound to provide all information required by the licensing administration
* You are allowed to legally engage in business in the country/state you reside
* Your premise for conducting business must follow all local or state laws
* You must notify your local police chief of your business and inform him/her of the address and other details of your premise. In some cases you need to acquire a written permission from the police chief in order to obtain the federal firearms license
* Your premise for conducting business should have all required storage and safety devices for your firearms. You must make sure your guns will not be available to persons who are not licensees.
How about application fees?
Different fees apply for different countries. Also different fees apply for different types of firearms licenses. In the USA the standard application fees for Non-Destructive devices start from 30$ and reach 200$ (depends if you want a collector, dealer, importer, pawnbroker or manufacturer license). The standard fees for Destructive devices start from $2500 (or a bit more). Remember that you have to re-pay those fees when you renew your federal firearms license.
The cheapest license (around $30) is for those who want to be collectors of non-destructive devices or manufacturers of ammunition.
The Federal Firearms License is the most important part of your business as a licensed firearms dealer. Once you got that, everything else is up to you.
